Punjab National Bank (PNB) has unveiled a significant recruitment drive for 2024, offering 2700 apprentice positions. The application window is open from June 30, 2024, to July 14, 2024. This recruitment aims to engage graduates under The Apprentices Act 1961 (as amended), providing a pathway for young professionals to gain valuable experience in the banking sector.

Key Details:

Eligibility Criteria:
– Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
– The age range for candidates is set between 20 and 28 years as of June 30, 2024, with applicable age relaxation for reserved categories as per government norms.

Selection Process:
The selection process comprises three stages:

1. Online Written Test: Scheduled for July 28, 2024, this test includes sections on Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning, General English, General/Financial Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. Each section will have 25 questions, totaling 100 questions for 100 marks, with a duration of 60 minutes.

2. Local Language Test
3. Medical Examination

Application Fees:
– General/OBC/EWS candidates: ₹944 (inclusive of GST)
– SC/ST/Female candidates: ₹708 (inclusive of GST)
– PwBD candidates: ₹472 (inclusive of GST)

Stipend:
– Apprentices in metro areas will receive ₹15,000 per month.
– Those in urban areas will receive ₹12,000 per month.
– For rural and semi-urban areas, the stipend is set at ₹10,000 per month.
